Objective: To extract anthocyanin pigment from bayberry pomace which was usually discarded in bayberry processing industry, and study the properties of anthocyanin pigment, estimate the antioxidant activity of it in order to get a good natural pigment through our research. Investigate the differences of bayberry kernel oil from different mechods, then evaluate the quality of kernel oil so as to get some data that would be beneficial to deeper development. Approach: Evaluate the antioxidant activity of anthocyanin pigment through scavenging DPPH, ABTS, FRAP. Three methods were used to extract oil from bayberry kernel, that is pressing, solvent extraction and supercritical fluid extraction(SFE). The physical-chemical indexes were measured by traditional methods, the oxidation property of oil was determined by modified oven method. |
