National Citrus Process Technology Research and Development Center (Hangzhou) is one of the first fifty national produce process technology research and development centers cognized by Ministry of Agriculture in China. The center is a citrus technical platform constructed together by Institute of Food Processing, Institute of Citrus in Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences and can food manufactories in Huangyan, Zhejiang. The mission of the center is aiming at the practical situation investigation of citrus process industry in loose peel citrus dominance zone of southern Zhejiang-western Fujian-eastern Guangdong, conducting research and development on key technologies and equipments of trend and urgently needed by citrus industry, cooperating with enterprises and providing timely the demonstration, transfer and on site guidance of scientific fruits and patents for citrus industry, training for technicians, organizing intercourse both home and abroad, collecting technology and market trends on industry development to provide a basis for the government to work out related policy and development layout, and playing its roles in promoting the continuous development of Chinese citrus process industry and connecting its development with the international market. |
